Forest for the Trees

It’s been a busy end of summer and early fall around Heritage Meadows with a total of 106 dead, or dying, trees being removed. These trees in many cases were affected by bugs and or old age. Old age? Yes, old age… Many of the trees originally planted on our property had fairly short life spans and have run their course. As we look to 2018 and the replacement of these trees we will be focusing on increased tree diversity and life spans, both of which are positive for sustainability.

Our parkway trees have also been getting some love from the Village of Plainfield, as part of their regular five year maintenance plan. We will be keeping an eye on the progress to make sure our whole community gets this much needed maintenance.

We will continue to update you on projects within our community as they happen. If you have questions, comments, or concerns do not hesitate to contact us thru Robyn Braun at 847-882-2365 or via email at robyn.braun@associa.us.
